Private Rental
An exclusive retreat where history, elegance, and privacy come together in timeless harmony
Currently, Villa Gamberaia can be rented in its entirety—including the main villa and three additional apartments—for up to 40 guests, with access to two swimming pools. Alternatively, individual accommodations may be booked separately, without exclusive use. Tailored experiences are also being developed for the corporate sector, with a focus on executive retreats, company gatherings, and bespoke hospitality for businesses.
VILLA
Within its historic walls, the villa offers accommodation for up to 18 guests across nine generously proportioned bedrooms—each imbued with its own distinctive soul. The décor of every room is a subtle conversation with the villa’s layered history: palettes of peacock blues, soft ochres, and earthy terracotta mingle with delicate olive greens and dove greys, creating intimate sanctuaries that feel both authentic and serenely refined.
The ground floor of the villa unfolds with a quiet elegance—two refined halls, an intimate internal arcade courtyard, and a collection of versatile spaces thoughtfully arranged to serve as offices or meeting rooms. Here, receptions, conferences, and exhibitions find a graceful home, their spirit intertwined with the villa’s timeless atmosphere.
A spacious lounge opens seamlessly onto the gardens, with breathtaking panorama of Florence and the Arno valley beyond. On the ground floor, an entrance hall with a vaulted ceiling welcomes visitors into an atrium, leading to four double or twin bedrooms, each with a bathroom featuring a bathtub—spaces that invite restful repose after days spent wandering the gardens.
Upstairs, five further bedrooms continue this dialogue of colour and texture, sharing three bathrooms designed with understated luxury. A large living room opens onto a furnished terrace, the perfect vantage point to admire the historic garden’s sculpted beauty. Adjacent lie the dining room and a spacious kitchen, with ancillary laundry and ironing rooms, all connected by a discreet lift.
Each corner of the villa whispers stories of the past, while offering every modern comfort—an exquisite harmony of history and hospitality, of quiet grandeur and personal retreat.
LIMONAIA
La Limonaia (adjacent to the room where lemon trees are stored in winter) is a historic 15th-century farmhouse that belonged to the family of the famous sculptor and architect Bernardo Rossellino.Part of the historic Limonaia has recently undergone a sensitive restoration, resulting in the creation of four luxurious suites — intimate rural “studios” that blend understated charm with contemporary comfort, in line with the highest standards of today’s boutique hospitality.
Each suite is defined by a refined palette: peacock blue, ochre, and terracotta red meet soft shades of olive green and dove grey, creating a harmonious atmosphere of quiet elegance. The views are idyllic, and each room features photographic works from the Riflessi di Gamberaia project by French-born, Florence-based artist Natacha Barth. The restoration, led by architect Selvaggia Lensi Orlandi is part of a wider vision to bring Gamberaia back into the orbit of artists, creatives, and lovers of timeless beauty, welcoming guests in an atmosphere of discreet luxury, while preserving the soul and intimacy of a private historic residence.
